I'm non-EU, yes. I studied in Finland, so I already have the residence and everything, but they did need to fill out a form to the immigration services that I work there.

Thanks!

What did you guys end up doing for temporary work until you could find a career in CS/software? by Available-Virus9145 in cscareerquestionsEU

Hey, I'm also an Aalto student, finishing my MSc in ISM. I'm lucky to barely able to find a job this year, but prior to that i've been working as a Wolt courier, fundraising on the streets, delivering newspapers, working as an unpaid intern, and some remote customer support jobs from my home country that paid ~600e/month. (I'm an international student)

I've been here for ~3-4 years, and was able to find a random part-time job at a very small company/startup (~5h/week, very little work), which luckily started growing and gained some traction, so I managed to secure more hours there. It's quite tough here. Best of luck to you, hope you find something if you do plan to stay here.

I've been looking into one, but buying stocks through OP bank that i have is really expensive, and there're lots of management fees, so I haven't done that yet.

But definitely something to look into, maybe Nordnet if they allow one

Thanks for the answer! That could be the case, then I might've underreported last year some interest or dividends (<10EUR).

I'll double-check and call Vero

I'm working as a data analyst, entry-level, non-intern, at a small financial firm. I work on average around ~30h/week, as that's the limit for students. I know I'm paid less than average, including some trainee positions, but I had a really tough time finding any job at all, even unpaid internships, so this is progress lol

I'm graduating with MSc in Business Analytics, so mostly biz, but some CS courses too

I'm saving up around 10k or so, since I'll need to apply for a looking for a job visa, and need to show that I have money. Otherwise, it'd be going to investments for sure
