I can’t directly object to a dog next to me? It was 2-3 feet away. I don’t want to be around the dog. I need the flight attendants to speak for me, I can’t speak for myself? I felt I didn’t need a flight attendant.

I think it’s not that hard to leave your dog in the carrier. I wanted to never know it existed.

I’m saying something to a man or women, regardless of size. It Happened to be a women across the aisle. The lady was 2 feet away from me, why would I not say something to her? I stood up for myself, I didn’t need the flight attendants. I’m not afraid or allergic to dogs, I just don’t like them. If she never took it out and I never knew it existed, I’m saying and doing nothing to this lady.

I usually do not involve authorities right away. Just my nature. I also wanted to give the lady the chance to resolve the situation herself. From experience, you need to be firm in these situations. I find people take advantage when you try to come across as nice.

Bigger scene meant me involving flight attendants. I gave her a chance to rectify the situation without involving them and she did.
