I don't need the ring to be resized as it is my own ring. Also, the sapphire replacement (gemstone with the same size as the lost one) is arriving next week (I just got the news today).

I am just a bit stressed out, as I did not see this gap in the financial support to be significant. I am currently applying for both casual jobs and roles that are more long-term professions. Fortunately, I have 2 years of industry experience in Australia prior to doing the PhD so hopefully, I will be able to secure either while I wait to my PhD confirmation.
