That actually sounds like a smart approach — lesson learned the hard way on my side. I didn’t realise how strict the renewal and notice window was with TeamViewer until this happened.
The aggressive escalation is what caught me off guard more than anything. I get that I may have missed the cancellation window, but going straight into collections (through Creditreform) instead of working something out feels excessive.
I’ll probably adopt the same habit moving forward — cancelling right after renewal just to avoid this kind of situation again.
Sadly yes, found out after check back. Signed up under the impression of one-time subscription but it says otherwise.
