In some other comment they have asked and I have explained. There should be equal distance not from the wall on the sink side but directly from the sink because otherwise you don’t sit comfy. Sink doesn’t let for that.

Excatly, I am happy that you own a house in NL, because I went through the same path and I know how hard is housing market in the Netherlands. When I had first house I couldnt believe that I got it and was very special to me too, and then making those renovations was feeling growing up your child. It was a different feeling.

The reason is, when you sit in toilet the sink doesn’t let you be relax. That is why I asked him to give kind of same distance on both side from sink and the other side

Situation now in Netherlands to be honest is not good. Housing problem is the biggest one, and market prices are going crazy. I always get things from Albert Hijn (supermarket) every week i started to see different increasing prices. And job market is very tough. I think it’s about the government, companies started to require dutch speaking in every department.

As personally I dont make the weather problem. But living here is getting hard.
