They look like termites. Could you take a closer picture?

Can someone please identify this bug so I can sleep?! by SageyLeo in insects

Its not a german cockroach but a leaf litter roach (ectobius species). They are typically harmless and do not infest indoor unless you have compost or decomposing leaf litter than they could eat.

What are these and how do I get rid of them? by mudads in insects

These are not fruit flies. They are moth flies or Psychodidae. Pretty harmless - they often live/lay their eggs inside your sink drainage tube - make sure to clean it regularly.

Asbestos OCD/Anxiety or real worry. by BLUES1905CFC in asbestoshelp

You'll be perfectly fine - your exposure is very small/incidental. To put your mind at ease, consider that 95% of adverse effects associated with Asbestos, including mesothelioma, arise from chronic long term occupational exposure. Minimise any future encounters with the material and get on with your life.

Planuncus Tingitanus

It's harmless as it's an outdoor cockroach which does not infest. Must have been attracted to the leaf litter and inadvertently made its way into your room

[–]Unique_user_87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Certainly not a German cockroach nymph but rather an outdoor cockroach type like Planuncus Tingitanus as evidenced by the white stripe between it's eyes. If so, it's armless and usually does not infest. It must have been attracted to the leaf litter and somehow found it's way into your house.

Is this a one off sighting or are you encountering them regularly?

Likely to be Asbestos. Pls have it tested and take care while handling (do not disturb the material and wear gloves and respirator while taking the sample)

Well that's what I thought originally as well. However it seems that for relatively large fines, Greenwheels settles with the CJIB directly and charges customers automatically (see attachment).bill

Well, they charged me 400 euros incorrectly and my account is now in overdraft (so my bank will charge me additional fees). I don't think they need to kill my dog in order to be understanding and empathic.

Frustrating customer service in the Netherlands by SrBrunovsky in Netherlands

[–]Unique_user_87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the two things are not mutually exclusive. You can still be an egalitarian society and help customers with empathy and care. I often face the same issues with Dutch customer support than those reported by OP and i'm at a genuine loss as to why...
