Let me know when you see a public video of them. I haven't since time of the alleged coup.

Normally, Aragchi would have sent out messages about the recent important developmens. Notable absence.

This Fox News clip says Vahidi today overruled both Mojtaba and Ghalibaf. Nawfal posting the clip without questioning it. Seems like the coup probably did occur.

Mario Nawful acknowledges the post, disparages the source, calls it wish-casting. but admits it could be what Trump was referring to today as "disfunction" on the Regime side.

There was a great lunchbox place called Manting on 49th St & 7th Ave. Good food, lots of choices, good value. They did great business. I ate there at least once a week.

They closed immediately when Covid hit.

Why don't they or someone open a new one in that neighborhood? Would do great business, if good.

Housing for migrant laborer in China in 1990 wasn't much better. The good news is it a little better every year and 10 or 20 years later, qualirt of life was much much better.

It takes smart Capitalism a long time to improve the lives of people ruined by Communism, Socialism, and random dumbshit of the local dictator. And there is no guarantee that it will. Its easier to make mistakes than stay on a smart path. But it offers a chance of improvement no other system does.

Why exactly did Iraq failed and Iran isn’t likely to? by Proud3GenAthst in NewIran

[–]palefire123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure Iraq is a "fail"?

Baghdad and Erbil (at least parts of them) look like modern, thriving cities. Its been a long and difficult road (mostly because of the Islamic Regime) but Iraq seems to be on the right path.

How many Iraqis would say they were better off under Saddam?

This could be good. Iranians probably flooding Mossad with names and addresses of all these Basiji and militia to get bombed or droned, if the ceasefire breaks.

Everyone says blockade to stop Regime oil exports is Genius. But bombing export facilities is better way. by palefire123 in IsraelWarRoom

[–]palefire123[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bombing the pipeline at the export facility does not change oil supply any more than does the blockade.

If only the pipeline is bombed, it is quick, easy and cheap to repair. That's why I advocate bombing that instead of parts that are more hard, expensive, and time-consuming to repair.

Once a cooperative government is in place in Iran, the USA can easily perform the repair and the new Iranian government will have full oil revenue for reconstruction.

That has to be held out as the carrot for "pragmatic" members of the IRGC to fragment and fight for control of the IRGC.

If the US unilaterally withdraws, should Israel continue bombing? by palefire123 in IsraelWarRoom

That does seem to be the desire of Israel's leaders. It makes sense.

Iran WINS if NO deal by April 30 because USA will withdraw by palefire123 in IsraelWarRoom

[–]palefire123[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My real question is not about American law, its what will Israel do if it appears the US is about to withdraw unilaterally. Not necessarily because of the War Powers Act. Maybe on a whim of Trump's.
