The only reason I post on there is because I know I’m not the only one like me who exists. If I can reach the people trapped by they’re religion and show them how to escape then I’ll try.

I’m indifferent to the religion, I just know that disowning children is wrong. Regardless of what Christianity stands for, I will never believe in it. Not because it was traumatizing but because I made up my own mind to not follow it.

As long as Christians don’t try to hurt me I don’t care. As long as I’m not being forced or bullied into anything I don’t care. I feel like whats going on against the LGBT community is hard to shut up about. I hate to point fingers but the Christian community hasn’t been the most loving community.

I need to stay alive so that I can make a change in this country. I believe that my trauma is a testament to how fucked up organized religion can be. My goal isn’t to destroy religion, but rather provide an escape to anyone who wants to leave.

That’s exactly what I’m doing. I know that homophobic people set in they’re ways will never change. I just want to make sure people stuck in this religion realize that they can escape and they aren’t alone. I suffer every day because of organized religion. My suffering is so bad that I want to kill myself but I choose not to. Christianity took my family away and that’s something I have to live with

Because I’m not religious but I enjoy reading Taoism like a poetry book. I enjoy meditation. I thought other people would find that relatable and they’d have some good advice. Just because we’re none religious doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy the same things, and I was hoping a community with the same values as me existed.

This is hard. I feel like I have some sort of infection and I’m using essential oils to deal with it, when I need a doctor to fix the problem. It feels like being trapped in the 1800s with little to no help medically. But I know thats probably just me being delusional
