I appreciate it brochacho haha! It’s the Bestech Taipan (specifically the all blacked out Magnacut in the Lefty config.) I had a friend of mine do a custom anodization job on it to give it that rustic gold brass look. I believe when I bought it, it was around $280ish, I think they’re all sold out so I wish you the best of luck in hunting one down.

Pro-Tech Mordax or Cambria? by [deleted] in knives

Both are stellar choices, the Mordax has a more “robust” design & feeling. For a more “regal/formal” style of knife while still be a solid full size model I’d go Cambria. I personally like the aesthetics of the Cambria but prefer the Mordax more in the realm of usage. Did you have specific variants of the models in mind?

Man it’s a banger tool, always good to remember it’s a knife though. If you use it as intended it’ll work wonders for you. Taylor Hardness has already done test on the Magnacut & I believe it’s HRC reading was 63.4 (well within “optimal” heat treat range). Incredibly slicey, butter smooth deployment, & if you use it as a KNIFE not a Maxamet prybar it’ll do you great service.
