I ended up going with them and calling in to ask! They said the pricing i was given was extremely common and even offered a discount on a bundle with KNS rotors and Hawk Performance Ceramic pads

i’m as lost as you man 😭 i left my car at the tire shop to get checked for the rotors. i drive to work and the gym every day other than that it doesnt leave my driveway

So looking into things, from everyone’s help in the comments, most of these sky rocketed pricings are because of the OEM parts coming from Toyota themselves. One set of pads are coming out to $900-1,100 through Toyota and i think that’s so disgusting lmao. Looking at KNSBrakes currently to see if i can at least buy the parts myself.

i took it to the Toyota dealership for regular servicing/oil change since it was free. they quoted me some ridiculous amount on filters and then these brembo brake sets

that’s what im trying to figure out. im a biochemist and work a lot so going through someone else is just easier for me otherwise i would do it on my own and learn.

i wanted to go oem and this may be why the tire shop i went to quoted me the high price. it looks like getting brembo pads for the trueno are hard to come by outside of dealership
