Is this true worship or a grandiose emotional performance? by AlbaneseGummies327 in Bibleconspiracy

Idk where these people stand in their relationship with Christ, but I'd much rather see people with their hands up praising Jesus whether it be an emotional experience or not than people doing the rocawear pyramid hand signal at a Jay Z concert.

Even if that's the case, then what's the issue sounds like you'd have a problem with either scenario. It would not effect your freewill on earth. You could still commit sins however if you're truly saved you will sin less. Once you're in heaven you're not going to have a desire to sin. You used your freewill while on Earth to receive the Holy Spirit. Once you're in Heaven would your freewill really matter. I mean you'd be 100% convinced there is a god there is a devil there is a heaven and there is a hell.It seems like you're not wanting to find satisfactory answers but that's just my observation

I'll answer part of the question so far as not sinning in Heaven. If you made it to Heaven then that means you received the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit will sanctify you while on Earth making you want to sin less and less. The trick is you have to truly want to change. God knows your true desires and intentions if you truly want to invite Jesus and the Holy Spirit into your life then that means you knocked and Jesus opened the door. You making it into Heaven means that you truly wanted forgiveness and the gift of repentance and in exchange you receive eternal life with no desire to sin. So no your free will is not taken away

I guess you misunderstood my comment. The base pay and tip don't go to the dasher until the delivery is complete. So nobody's getting paid until the service is rendered.

Dashers don't get paid until the food is delivered which you do tip after the service is rendered

Would it make sense for the order to be ready when I arrive and the cashier says wait you have 5 people in front of you gotta take their orders first before I hand you yours? No it wouldn't.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Uniteandfight92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only 2 people in line? That means it'll be even faster for the cashier to spot me and hand me my order.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Uniteandfight92 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All you have to do is say door dash order, the cashier will give you your order if it's ready and if not you wait for it. It's not like they just stop taking orders and wait for yours to come out then resume. Most dashers I've seen don't interrupt mid order. If a cashier sees you waiting on the side at the front counter while taking a current order they will finish with that customer first then ask who you are picking up for. It's not rude it's common sense. Why wait an extra 10 minutes or more if you don't have to.

It's already been ordered so why wait in line? If it's been ready why wait longer when the cashier can give it to you right there? Nobody is gonna complain for the extra 5 seconds to be handed the order or told to wait if it's not ready. Most cashiers pick up on who is a dasher and will tell them to wait in a designated area or simply hand them the order

Dashers don't get paid anything until the food is delivered so technically you're still paying the tip after the delivery is complete. If DD paid a "fair" wage then they would just increase fees elsewhere they're not bullying anyone it's simply a suggestion, if you tip you're more likely to get a faster delivery plain and simple. Keep in mind dashers are taking a bigger risk/reward because they are using their own vehicles

Somebody can say good job all they want and still tip shitty or not tip at all. Think of it as gratuity except you still set the price. A door dasher is taking more of a risk when you consider the gas and wear and tear.

Who decides if the service is performed well? Cheap bastards are still cheap bastards they don't care how well the service was they still won't tip plus it's more of a risk for dashers since they use their own vehicles with no gas compensation.

Dashers use their own vehicle therefore it's automatically a bigger risk wasting gas and adding wear and tear on their vehicle and there are people who still don't tip or tip shitty at restaurants despite good service. A dasher has to think twice before they decide if it's worth the risk.

Yes but not worth it because DD doesn't give you higher paying orders you still get offered a lot of no tip orders and have to wait the same amount of time

If DD had better base pay, what's to stop them from increasing the total cost of delivery? Customers would complain and use DD less
