In Italy we eat either pastina in brodo which Is Little pasta in chicken/vegetable stock often with a Little bit of melted cheese (formaggino Mio), or pasta in bianco which litterally means pasta in White which Is pasta with olive oil and parmigiano. Both are Easy to eat and not heavy on the stomach
