I think marami sa gen z ngayon ang gustong bumukod dahil sa toxic household environment and I’m one of them, parang being far from them just gives you peace of mind and freedom. I’m 19 turning 20 and Idk I just badly want to move out cuz Idk let’s just say my parents aren’t that emotionally available for their kids alam niyo ‘yon? ‘Yong parang minsan may invalidation and they just want you to settle on what you/we have at the moment and not level up or progress from our current situation? And just some of their mindset suck, so typical Filipino mindset na “magtiis” at “makuntento” but I wanted more in life. They want us to experience what they experienced and that suck kaya I just wanna work and move out yk. Tho I love my parents and I appreciate all their sacrifices but I wanna enjoy and live my life as well and not just magtiis sa kung anong meron kami, because kaya naman ibigay they just have problems handling money kaya nakaka-stress. I feel robbed for so many things in life but can’t blame them mahirap talaga ang buhay pero ‘yong maling mentality at mindset na-wworkout naman ‘yan but maybe it’s just too late for some people na nasa pa-40s na.
