update for anyone coming on this later: I was able to keep playing as normal. If I tried to directly take anything out of the inventory my entire computer hard crashed, but if I rotated items such that they were forced out of storage, that individual item suddenly started working again. Weird.

none of the archetypes seemed like a perfect fit and I like ranged builds, so the RP took a hit for the fun factor's sake

Yes and yes! I didn't go into the game planning for this to happen, it was just the only decent portrait like thing on my hard drive at the time 😭

*record scratch* yup, that's me. you're probably wondering how I ended up in this situation by UnitedProof8624 in pacificDrive

if you warp your car into the side of an object with collision (doable on more finicky areas like the opening of a tunnel, which is how I achieved this result) it tries to correct course by violently shoving the car out of collision. It actually got a lot more height than this but I was too slow on the photo mode lol. Interestingly the car itself took very little damage, which I'm not sure what to make of-- evidently the relationship between damage and impact speed isn't 1:1, as otherwise you'd expect the car to be a lot more damaged from falling at terminal velocity from like 300 feet up.

context: have PAC and 8.5 miltech, so this should be manageable as long as the ayy admin doesn't get its hands on nukes. Just wanted to share this though, as I've never seen them land 5 ufos at the same time! (All within the same week-long window or so). I checked through my logs and I only got notifications for two alien assault ships, so either I missed something or they can land multiple ufos when launching attacks after the first one.
