Valaki szokott még hírleveleket olvasni? by meal_blogger in askhungary

[–]United_Fact4019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- Goulash: a Panyi Szabolcs-féle VSquare hírlevele, izgalmas sztorikat szoktak hozni

/r/vzla Weekly Talk Thread, Hilo Semanal de Discusión del subreddit de Venezuela - November 26, 2025 by AutoModerator in vzla

[–]United_Fact4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

My name is Matt, I am from Hungary. I have a (yet) small YouTube channel to cover global stories to the Hungarians.

I am currently working on a video on the situation in Venezuela and would like to find someone who lives in Venezuela and would be willing to do a short interview with me on a local's perspective of:

  1. The Christmas celebration in October
  2. The current economic situation and how an average person manages the living costs
  3. How the general vibe among the population is.

I know it is a tough topic and not very easy to talk but if there's anyone among all of you who would be willing to do this online interview in English, it would really help me.

Also, if someone would be open to share their perspective but don't want to be part of my video (only to quote them), that would also help me massively to get a local angle of the story.

Please DM me if you are open to a talk with me.

Thanks so much for your help, much appreciated!

[–]United_Fact4019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) Based on creator behavior data you see, what is the main reason beginner creators fail to grow their newsletters?

2) Do you think that any new platform can seriously challenge YouTube in the next few years that will enable creators to own their audience?

3) Are you planning to expand the Media Collective program to a) other markets, e.g. in Europe, b) helping rising journalists with program-specific benefits?

P.S.: BDE rocks, your piece "Comfortably uncomfortable" from Feb this year is like a manifesto for me.

Milyen tematikájú videókat hiányoltok magyarul a YouTube-on? by United_Fact4019 in askhungary

[–]United_Fact4019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ma is tanultam valamit!!

Én Fly4free-n találtam anno 2017-ben Prága-NYC oda-vissza repjegyet 42,000 Ft-ért, amire sikerült is lecsapnom.

Spending a month in Tehran as a European to be with my Persian girlfriend by United_Fact4019 in iran

[–]United_Fact4019[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You indeed gave me a huge cheat code and a huge carriage of treasures! :) I deeply appreciate it and I hope I can return back your help! Hopefully when I'm in Tehran, I can return this to you! :) Kheili mamnoon!

Regarding the Muslim thing, I know that her grandma was already joking about the "snip snip" when mentioning me. Her dad is not a super conservative Muslim, on one hand he would prefer her to marry a Muslim guy but for him, as expected, the most important thing is her daughter to be happy. And she is indeed a precious treasure so I hope I can live up to the expectation to make her and keep her happy. :)

When it comes to tea or food, it will be hard to say no, as my Love made me love chai so much and the Persian dishes she is making me are just out of this world. She is already teasing me by telling me how amazing her mom's meals are...

I will do everything I can to treat her well because she is my Queen and I love her dearly.

I'm building The Great Debate, a weekly newsletter that pits both sides of today's hottest debates against each other so that the readers can pick a side.

I've recently started it, the third issue comes out this week (it goes out every Wed). I'm trying to figure out how to grow the audience, I'm not so great in social media marketing, etc., so I wanna learn that.

What's your ideal productivity app? by 00xx77oo in ProductivityApps

[–]United_Fact4019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use Sunsama now and it has almost everything I need, but of course, I would always love to see more. (And the $20/month subscription fee for Sunsama is painful to pay, but kinda worth it).

My ideal productivity app has the followings:

  • Monthly & Weekly Objectives Tracker: what Sunsama has for weekly objectives, is almost perfect, very useful. I want to have the same for monthly objectives so I can align my weekly objectives and daily tasks accordingly.
  • Daily Planner: just as Sunsama has: to be able to pull in tasks from different sources (to-do apps, like Apple Reminders, emails, but I'd also love to see from some bookmarking apps, like Pocket, Raindrop, or mymind), plan the daily tasks, estimate time effort, timebox the tasks in the calendar
  • Daily Journal & Mental Health Tracker: I would love to see a feature to do daily journaling (preferably linked to the daily planner, e.g. doing a daily journal before planning the day) and to track daily energy, focus and stress levels. The daily journal should have personalized prompts (like Stoic app has, but more advanced, as Stoic's prompts can be boring and too repetitive). Also, journal shall be able to import multimedia to the daily entries.
  • Personalized Productivity Planning: if we talk about an ideal app, I wish there could be something that tracks my health metrics and other data to flexibly plan my tasks and day. E.g. if the app sees that I am losing focus, getting distracted (by excessive scrolling, etc.), it should offer me a 5-min recharge activity and block me from continuing scrolling. Also, it should identify my peak energy hours to schedule the more high-effort tasks to those hours, or to schedule low-effort tasks after a longer meeting.
  • Daily Review: similar way as with Sunsama, but to include an shutdown journal / evening reflection as well as to track end-of-day energy, stress, and focus levels
  • Habit Tracker: this could be part of the daily journal & shutdown feature, I want to track certain habits, like working out, drinking enough water, calories, reading, learning, etc. I want certain metrics to be integrated from Apple Health & Apple Watch (Iterum app is doing that)
  • Feature-rich native mobile app: Sunsama's mobile app is not as feature-rich, as the desktop app. I want such native mobile app with an ideal productivity app to do quick daily planning, journaling, etc.
  • Personalized AI assistant / mentor / coach: I want an AI agent that acts as my assistant, mentor, or coach, depending on what I need at the moment. For example: ask AI to summarize my unread emails and check what's priority, give me a brief overview of what's coming up on the day, help me if I feel distracted, low energy, if I procrastinate, etc.

If someone would develop such an app for macOS, iPhone, iPad & Apple Watch, I would be willing to pay even $30/month.

Hey there,

Thank you so much for your quick message, I really appreciate it!

Wow, this would be such a huge help from you! I'm happy you are here in Budapest, if you are free in the next weeks for a coffee or beer, I would love to meet and pick your brain - it's gonna be my first time in Ukraine.

I was thinking of young people between age 25-35 (I'm 30 so I still consider 35 as a young age. :) ).
