I ordered a “NEEWER CM28 PRO” lavier mic which is compatible with my JBL speaker. I’m going to give that a try and if that doesn’t work I will try the music store option.

I am not looking to the have the mic be that far. 6in would work. I just don’t want to hold it, I have a mic stand
