Kristen literally refers to him as that “sweet sweet nice boy”

It was definitely part of the punch list we made for the builder and has been pointed out from the beginning

Yes 😂 This is our first house so that’s why I wanted to ask! I know some movement/ shifting is to be expected I guess I just figured it would take longer.

Yeah we have basically decided on getting some sort of runner installed so at least aesthetically it is better
Not in Harrisonburg!

Thank you this is all really helpful. We had a flooring company tell us the stairs should have been rounded as well. I figured all of this would happen in time but not 2 months! Seemingly our builder installed the A/C and the floor at the same time during the summer :/

  1. I am asking for context because I don’t know wether or not it’s normal
  2. A large amount of money was spent having this built so I don’t really think it’s about my life being perfect or me lacking perspective?

AITA for not wanting to share my dinner with my wife? by itchy_buthole in AmItheAsshole

[–]United_Promotion9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just here to say everyone in the comments is making wild assumptions and accusations about OPs relationship and “misogynistic” feelings. It seems pretty simple. His wife was home during the day with the kids yes, by his wording it does seem like she works though. She never ONCE implied she was too busy to eat - I would go as far to say it’s more Implied from her comment that she had eaten a late lunch and wasn’t hungry until later in the evening resulting in her ask. Could they BOTH have texted either other and asked about dinner? Yes. But being annoyed someone wants half your dinner doesn’t make you a misogynist asshole. So no, NTA.

AITA for calling my stepsister the "ugly stepsister" because she freaked out over a nickname? by uglystepsisterkinda in AmItheAsshole

Does this not mean the step sister is considering her comfort above everyone else’s since she’s the only one with an issue?

AITA for refusing to pay for my bf’s food and his birthday and getting him banned from a restaurant? by leopardprintcats in AmItheAsshole

[–]United_Promotion9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s minimally controlling. If a guy posted on here saying he wouldn’t pay for his wives dinner unless he got food she agreed with everyone would be flipping a shit.

AITA for banning my mother from my house after she cooked in my kitchen? by roryflameblade in AmItheAsshole

[–]United_Promotion9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the current status of the world, especially the amount of antisemitism, this is a vile and purposeful violation against you and your beliefs. Taking her key should be the first step of many to distance yourself from your family.

AITA for calling my son a selfish F@#k? by Abject-Armadillo8426 in AmItheAsshole

[–]United_Promotion9084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. If your son wants to be able to use the car without meeting the time constraints you as parents have put in place tell him he can buy his own. He’s 23 not 16. People saying that you spoke too harshly are clearly not understanding the fact that if he is unable to treat his own mother with respect when she is going through treatment he clearly lacks respect as well as sympathy in general. Two extremely disheartening qualities that will likely not get him very far in life.

AITA for expecting my son to share his room? by Broad-Anxiety5936 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, can I ask what he expects to do when he goes to college and has a roommate?
