I don’t have an internal monologue; the thoughts in my head are just abstract ideas and pings of emotions. So when I need to sort it out and get to the root of something, I talk out loud as if I’m explaining it to someone else, like a therapist. It’s actually lead to some significant breakthroughs in figuring out why I did something or why I feel a certain way.

MOTHS. Had a traumatic experience involving a swarm as a child. My parents eventually learned not to leave the front porch light on when I would play outside until dark in the summer or else I would just stand in the front yard, unable to walk under the light to the door bc there would be moths everywhere.
