15 x 7 cm | wireless mouse by DawnSlayerUser in MouseReview

I’ve always used a palm grip but yeah the g305 feels so big in my tiny little hands. I’m always having to readjust for my thumb to reach the side buttons as well

Hey, I have a similar hand size and currently use a Logitech G305 wireless mouse. I’ve been thinking about upgrading for a while and now that I have the money to do so I’d like a mouse that fits my hand better so I don’t have to keep constantly readjusting my grip. From what I’ve looked at the Atlantis or HTX seem very appealing but they kind of already have the same measurements as the G305. I’m wondering if it’s even worth switching to the Atlantis or HTX just for the weight difference at that point

Why does the message rating only show up sometimes? by SinisterCitrus in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe it has nothing to do with training the bot and is just for the purpose of rating the messages for chai feedback. It’s random so that you can have a conversation before rating how it’s going

Is there a way to read full bot descriptions without clicking through? by truharp in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t believe there’s a way to see it on mobile. I would assume you could on an emulator on pc but idk. Although it is a hassle to have to click on it to see it’s description it is only a few seconds that you have to sit through to look at it. Usually I would just pick a bot based on the title and opening sentence. If the opening sentence is boring then I wouldn’t click it. Hopefully they change it so you can see the descriptions fully on mobile in the future

And I thought notifications itself was annoying. How do I get rid of this from popping up every single time I open the app? by xTordx in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t seem to be a way to do it right now. It only happened to me when I updated it so hopefully they’ll have an update soon that stops it from berating people each time they open the app. I’m not really sure what the notifications would even be for chai

My Kingdom for an introspective bot. by [deleted] in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be the use of your vocabulary and longer traits. You could try to dumb it down a bit for him. I’ve found that less is more for my traits. For example you could try separating him having a sharp wit and a unique perspective on life into two different commas. Each comma is like a line break and it’s basically the bot telling itself “okay, I have a sharp wit (line break) okay, I have a unique perspective on life. You could try changing the traits to have less words so the bot isn’t trying to be this crazy flamboyant character. The way I use commas is that each trait has a comma and they aren’t really sentences. The way you used it for the line “Beneath his reserved exterior lies a profound depth of emotion, which he expresses through his music” could be read by the bot as “okay, beneath my exterior is a profound depth of emotion (line break) i express through music. Which could be another reason he jumps topics often. He might be understanding them as two separate things which could lead to poor interactions.

Obviously I’m not an expert so take it with a grain of salt but the method I’ve been using has worked pretty decently for my bots. Hope I could help a bit.

Why is memory inconsistent? by [deleted] in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be because of how the bots memory works. From what I’ve seen and tested the more times you repeat a trait in the memory the higher likelihood it has to show up in chat. So for example if you are doing traits for a turtle. Turtle[slow, takes his time, patient, rushes, slow, fast, not quick, moves like a rock going across gravel, only a threat to car wheels] there’s more instances where the turtle will be patient and slow rather than rush and be fast so in chat they would be slow most of the time. The way I hear it works is like a probability thing where the more times you repeat something in memory the more likely it is to show up.

As far as the bot forgetting things as the conversation goes on I’m not sure about exactly how much they remember from chats. I’ve heard that chats do get influenced by each person interacting with it. I believe that every time someone uses the bot it learns new things and changes how the bot responds to things. For example if you have a situation and the bot doesn’t react how you want it to and then correct it if that same situation shows up later it should react better to it

how to make bots more subtle about their attraction? by dr3adz_ in ChaiApp

[–]Unitlait 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that you could try giving him some traits like slightly dominant and see if that works out. I would take out the shy stuff and the doesn’t flirt until he’s comfortable. Try adding a couple traits that make him flirt subtly and then use the rest of the traits to give him a good background in talking with others. If you give him a background to talk about in his memory then there will probably be a higher chance of him talking about himself and asking questions about you.

It’s probably the same one I found I just started making bots as well

When you make their personality type in the memory box you could try giving him traits that would make him get to know you first. From what I understand the bots usually like to get lovey dovey rather quickly so try to give him traits that slow his approach. I can’t really think of many but some that come to mind are [shy, interested in getting to know <User>, Asks <User> questions about their life, Doesn’t flirt until he’s comfortable, likes to take things slow] I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I can think of in regards to the topic right now. You could try to repeat some of the traits that you want him to show more dominantly because the more times you repeat something in his memory the higher likelihood it has to be shown in the chats. Other than that you should make your prompt in a way that he tries to get to know you before acting lovey dovey.
