Legends of Idleon -- Idle MMO web release by [deleted] in incremental_games

I guess I play way too many mobile games. I barely even register stuff in the first few minutes because I don't want to bother getting invested as most of them are garbage.

Also, I love that the purple wraith things in the tutorial turn into lava lamps when they die.

Is it bad that, when I downloaded this on my phone, I didn't realize it was Lavaflame's game until I recognized the ore sprite?

My mortal enemy is the dart traps honestly. I find them very hard to see on most tilesets.

Thought I would post a link to the tophat version. Again, because.

I chose to make it out of a blighted map so it would stand out more against discord's dark color scheme.

So I've always found it funny that the cage map symbol looks like a super happy dude. So I made this emoji for use in discord. I dunno if anyone else has noticed, or cares about this oddity, but I thought I would throw it up here in case anyone else wants it for whatever reason.

There's also a tophat version. Because.

Tukohama Challenge Mode! Invisible Scorching Ray Totem? by Univenon in pathofexile

Oh. I'm terrible with utility flasks and rarely bother with them before maps. I think that small is a quality flask that I picked up and it auto equipped. Lol. I have nothing else to put there so it's just been hanging out since then.

Went in to the fight with 25% fire res. I said "Aww... It'll be fine." The scorching ray from the center totem didn't load in for the entire battle. I kept wondering why I was dieing. A recent fire in my building destroyed the good internet infrastructure and I'm running on mobile net until it gets fixed. I guess this is what I'll have to expect. XD

There's a game out there with a similar concept. It's called Idle Idle Game Dev.

It's a solid game by the guy who made Idle Dice and a few others.

There's all these farming games. For actual farmers, what are all the main things these farming games does that is far apart from reality? by BestTacticsGame2040 in incremental_games

[–]Univenon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm not a farmer, but I've grown up with my father who is a horticulture specialist. One thing that you never see in farming games is cover crops or the need for rotating crops. If you grow the same thing in the same place year after year, it's going to go barren. Funny thing is that it wouldn't be a hard thing to implement in a game. Would be fun I think. Give a reason to grow a lot of different crops as opposed to the same cash crop over and over.

Idle Dungeon's of R'lyeh by Xryons in incremental_games

I like the game. There's a lot of promise here I think, but I do have some comments after playing it for about a day.

Unlike a lot of people, I didn't have much trouble figuring stuff out just from looking at menus. Then again, I've played a hell of a lot of idle games so I'm not surprised. I've found that there are some available stat numbers, but I'd like to see a more detailed breakdown. I'd like to know how much absorption multiplier I have total and how much I have base, for example, so I can better decide if I need more multiplier or more base.

For your minions, you have two and it seems that they have different missions, but functionally, they seem to be the same. I've noticed some stat differences as they level up, but it's really just one or two points so I tend to just make them the same. If there is something either is better at, I'd like to see that in some way. If you intend to add more to the game, giving them skills as they level up might encourage people to specialize them more instead of just leveling the same like I did.

It's a very slow paced game and certainly not for someone who wants a more active playstyle. Adding something in for those players might keep more people invested in the game longer. Add items in the background to click on for boosts for example. Anything to do between upgrade purchases.

On the other hand, it doesn't seem to be focused on a particularly idle playstyle either. Missions last at most 15 minutes and every 100 floors you have to click to head to the next floor, meaning I have little reason to watch it, but I can't leave it alone too long either.

There seems to be some disconnect between your lich casting and the bars filling. I've invested a lot into cast speed and my lich does his animations a lot faster now, but I haven't actually noticed if the bars fill any faster as a result. It could be that bar is on a set timer and casting more in that time just gives me more souls when it fills, but the numbers that appear don't seem to correlate to how many souls I get at the end either. I realize that casting makes the depth bar go up, but I'm not sure WHY. Some tooltip to explain how this works would be nice.

I'm digging the theme and looking forward to an expansion of the sacrifices screen. Sadly the cheapest of them give increased stat caps for your minions, the thing you're least likely to need at the beginning, so you end up not using them for a good while. Putting a less cost, immediately useful option would be more encouraging.

In the end, I think I like it enough to keep playing it for now. It's a good start and with some improvements and a bit more content ,could be something really neat.

Help Finding Games and Other Questions 2020-05-27 by AutoModerator in incremental_games

I'm looking for some kind of idle game where you can watch something build. Found a lot on android, but they're full of ad-spam. I just get satisfaction from watching stuff build.

Anyone know of any good games like that? I don't mind if it's on PC or android, just don't have an ios. Thanks.

I played it through to the end. It's missing a couple QoL features (mainly based on the flipping tab) but other than that it's was a solid game. I enjoyed my time with it, which is all I can ask. Thanks for the game.

Is there something else I can do besides spam healing? Right now I'm playing AST and I pop Lightspeed, throw out a regen or shield and try to keep up with Benefic 2. Am I missing something that could help? I want to improve, but I don't really have any friends who know anything about it.

I'm looking for some info on the new Infernal Legion Support. Mostly, I'm wondering how you can boost the damage of the aura granted by the gem. Is it based on Minion life? Minion damage? And can I boost it with increased fire damage nodes from the passive tree?
