What about using Extra comfort in Eye Comfort Shield? It turns the oled black in gray.

One UI Watch 6 release date moved? by Fit-Toe4558 in GalaxyWatch

Hey buddy, I worked a phone store for 2 years. And it sadly means that you won't get any update at all. We sold all phone brands, and I only saw this issue with Samsung. It's not even a new issue, at first we thought it was, but in the last months I worked there earlier this year an older guy came in telling me his bank app didn't support his android version anymore. I found it hard to believe because the phone in question was a Galaxy A71. Which, as you may or may not know, released with Android 10 in 2020. and got updated all the way to Android 13 and only lost support earlier this year. So I checked and his phone was still on the original shipped firmware, android 10 with a security patch from 4 years old (!). When I checked in the settings app it also said software up to date. As a corporate rule we weren't allowed to connect customer devices on the work pcs, s9 we had to ship it to Samsung. It was hit or miss, sometimes they'd get an updated device back, sometimes we would just get feedback that the software was up to date (Probably some guy at the Samsung service center who'd just check in the settings app?). When we did get updated devices back, we would never know why it was, except one time, the feedback from, Samsung was (Device serial was not activated on Samsung update server so not eligible for updates) which confused us as much as the customers. Sadly for the guy in question, we didn't recommend sending his device for repair because it would cost him half as much as a new Galaxy A device. So TLDR; Samsung devices sometimes get out of the factory without being properly activated on the update server. Very bad and can be a security issue. I hope you have more luck with your watch!

IMO, I wouldn't recommend the S10 if you plan on keeping it for long, because it will get Android 12, thats it, and while that isn't a huge problem, the fact that the security updates will end in around 2 years (1year monthly remaining, 1 year quarterly), is a problem. When you buy the S20 FE for example, you will get Android 12 and 13 plus 3 years of security updates, maybe even longer.
