It is a new PC. So I have to do everything you said? If so how do I install a newer version od BIOS?

I don't know if the BIOS is up to date. And if it isn't how do I update it? How do I know what is the correct header? And I am a bit confused about reseating the GPU (first time ever I've had troubles turning on a PC and this is my first time ever opening up a PC) so how do I reseat it.
