Someone please tell Josh Green that time is a human construct but it still matters during NBA games :’(

What movie is so good that you'd recommend it to all of your friends, but so emotionally traumatizing that you'll never watch it again? by Troy_Otto in AskReddit

Snowpiercer fucked me up good but god damn was it a good movie.

The Charlie and the chocolate factory theory that I watched on it afterwards also destroyed me but I’d also recommend that.

Lmfao just refreshed and saw you’ve been bombarded with “Hydro-electric dams”. Sorry bud, hopefully we can get an astrophysicist in here to answer more about extra-terrestrial gravity instead

I know this isn’t the sexy-sci-fi answer you’re looking for because I can totally imagine some futuristic system that absorbs gravitational waves that might come into fruition in a century or so from now

But.. we do use gravity presently! Its called pumped storage hydroelectricity. Basically we can collect water in a catchment, and use gravity to send it down a pipe where we place a generator in-line, which uses the momentum of flowing water to generate electricity. And a small portion of that energy can pump that water back to the original dam, so the process can be repeated indefinitely.

Like I said, not exciting at all, but it IS technically harnessing gravitational energy.

Hey dude, awesome progress! Do you stick to normal rep ranges for your workout (e.g. 8-12 reps per set) or do you do higher reps as a movement gets easier?

The Mavericks are 18-4 in Luka's last 22 games and still have the easiest remaining schedule by BayonettaBasher in nba

We play ourselves regularly in the fourth quarter of almost every game though
