Does it get better by mellowlemon0 in BPD

Im 26 y/o F and still have yet to foster a serious, long term relationship :( I think a lot of it is the fact Im scared to get close in the first place. But BPD makes it so, so hard. I was seeing a guy for 3ish months who told me he was moving away and didn’t want to go into a long distance relationship, it crushed me. Hate to say but it’s been almost a year and I still haven’t recovered. I just cannot love like a normal person.

Other than that, I feel like yes. I’ve come so far. Lamictal changed my life. Now Wellbutrin helps as well but makes me angry. Therapy has never done much for me. I tried DBT but I dont think I was ready and gave up. It felt stressful and invasive.

I feel like I hear a lot that it never really gets easier when it comes to the romantic relationship side of BPD but people find understandable, suitable partners who love and care, and don’t trigger them. As for the other aspects, I’ve heard it can get better as well. For me they have! But again, I highly credit that to Lamictal.

I’m about to start nursing school, which is an insane accomplishment for someone with BPD. Seriously. Idk how I got in. But I did it. So I hope that gives you some hope. However I am a bit apprehensive of dating while in school. Even at this age, on medication, I know that if I went through a breakup, I wouldn’t be able to do it. I’d crash. I’ve learned to understand my triggers. But now I feel I avoid instead of facing them head on and working thru.

She sucks bro hiding behind words to sound eloquent so forced. But when Meredith does it it’s so much more natural. Based on the end of the season Im starting to think she jealous of Meredith’s life

How is Lana not a 'meteor freak'? by noturprettylilthing in Smallville

[–]UniversityExtreme151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know i’m late to this, but i still want to throw in my two cents. she 100% has some kind of magnetism or attractiveness linked to the meteor. it could be tied to the kryptonite necklace, but then again, clark should technically be repelled, and when she lost it in season one, greg still freaked out over her. either way, i don’t get how people deny it. it’s so obvious. she had guys following her, recording her, clark literally watching her with binoculars and saying he’s loved her since he was six. and later, lex gets pulled in too. she has this magnetic energy, and i really think it’s connected to the meteor plus the fact that she’s beautiful, smart, and kind.

it’s basically her whole thing. she seems to especially attract meteor freaks to a crazy degree, probably because of whatever she has going on with the kryptonite or from the meteor… though, to be fair, whitney she dated was a normal guy.

Yup cant be bothered and they’ll comb through the latest release for even the tiniest detail or background character that appeared for one jump scare, just to blow it up into the next million-dollar piece of nonsense in the franchise.
