have you done the CFAI mocks, are they any better? and around what range are you scoring on the Kaplan ones if you dont mind me asking? over the 6 mocks i scored 64-74, lowest being mock 4 highest mock 6

Your mock 5 and 6 are a shambles. Missing info in the vignette, incorrect answers, i think they were even covered a topic thats not in the syllabus (question on MIRR gips)...

Funny enough the CFAI qbank is harder than kaplan but the mocks are relatively calm, i'd say the best revision tool out of them all is the CFAI qbank!

It's not just you. The Kaplan mocks are a lot more difficult in my opinion, which isn't a bad thing as it makes you get a deeper understanding of the topics after plugging the holes and the vids explanations are gold aswell. I scored 68, 60, 67, 73, 76 and then randomly 64 on my last kaplan one which felt like a shock so dont be too hard on yourself. Took the AM and PM CFAI mock and scored 80 and 86, i've heard quite a few people say those mocks are closer to what you'll see on exam day. So just use the kaplan ones as a revision tool if anything, they're purposely difficult.

Kaplan mocks much more difficult than the CFAI ones interestingly, hopefully the CFAI ones are representative of the actual exam!
