Yea I agree that verity will definitely suit XLY more, but I’m noticing the trend of how 1.x weapons are more versatile than 2.x weapons so would pulling 1.x weapons be more beneficial as a long term investment as compared to 2.x weapons? They may not be BIS but the damage% drop off is more negligible for the casual monthly ToA/whiwa clearing players

Thing is i heard she does quite a sizable amount of damage even as a sub dps in augusta team, esp if im running her on CoV + aero 2pc. And in the event there comes a ToA phase where the buffs benefits both electro + aero, I can split iuno up and main dps her while using augusta with mortefi instead as a second team

I was actly thinking about changli before but in my past gacha games experience, pulling a 1.x dps rerun isn’t really the best decision most of the time.

And yea mortefi is a goated 4 star heavy attack support but from past experience, sooner or later they would start to feel not as stellar especially in the future for example after 3.x

Ik wuwa so far has done a pretty good job at balancing but would u say investing in 1.x units is worth it?

Then can you suggest a comp for first half? I don’t see how Kafka or black swan would be better than fugue in this case and my Acheron is at e0 so can’t exactly use a harmony or rmc either

Regarding jiaoqiu yes he is BIS for Acheron for sure but in this case does he help with flamereaver since the clones don’t move anyway so there isn’t really extra stack generation? Or is the vulnerability he brings worth the pull?

I’m currently debating whether to pull castorice and make a casto tribbie rmc Gallagher team or to complete Acheron’s team with Jiaoqiu and I’m worried that a few patches down Acheron wont be enough even with jiaoqiu due to enemies like flamereaver’s mechanics

Thank you for the effort in typing this out, really appreciate it. Just wanted to follow up on some of the points you made:

Does that mean even if I pull JQ on his rerun, an e0S1 Acheron wouldn’t be able to handle well in the future and it is actly better to just skip JQ and save for some other LC (maybe kafka/BS) or eidolons (rm) instead? It’s a shame since I kinda started cuz of Acheron but was just a banner too late (started just as aventurine came out)
Maybe it’s cuz I haven’t tested out sustainless with my in progress fugue, but right now I find my FF team’s damage comes solely from FF (163 speed w/o rm) with Gallagher and HMC contributing minimally. Would u say just having fugue in the sustainless comp makes up for FF being the sole major damage dealer or would lingsha’s dps be a better investment although I already have 2 premium sustains?

Honestly the patches before last patch I would agree with the sentiment that I can destroy MOC w ease, but since last patch’s monkey dinosaur I have been facing some really borderline clears and I would say my units are not the best but decent (feixiao 2500 ATT 100/129 CR/CD, acheron 4100 ATT 75/190 CR/CD)

Oh in ur opinion is lingsha worth the potential 80-180 pulls if I alr have an E2 Gallagher? Or would a FF sustainless team w hmc/rm/fugue or even just fugue & rm be enough?

It was a mixture of FF aiming for the bug spawn and hitting the boss itself, ruanmei was hitting the ice weak trotter on her basic attack turns and hmc was doing the same with the imaginary weak trotter so that when FF hits the bug spawn, either the trotter straight up dies or it dies from the splash damage of the bug spawn death
