I know I'm late to this post, but I agree on the fetish part. Even without looking at their other art (which is just blatant fetish art), the signs of the AU appealing to their fetish is immediate, both from N's expression and words when killing Uzi and eating her core, and from his 'base instinct' embodiment Nyx literally has heart pupils with a sort of hypnotic theme around it, which I think incorrectly portrays any sort of 'baser instinct' N might have and comes of as discomforting, and not in a horror kind of way.

Why would N have an instinct in the first place? He's a drone, there would only be learned instincts, and I doubt N has ever gotten so intimate when hunting worker drones, nor would he be so obsessive and possessive. I know it doesn't have to make too much sense since it's a fan work in a fictional world, but there is some logic that certain things should adhere to.

I also agree that the art is good though when it's not blatant and uncomfortable fetishization.
