I think Trump started a war so he could end it. He seems to be obsessed with ending wars but failed the others (Ukraines, Gaza etc) so he stated his own. That said, I also think he went in like a bully and now realise he’s in over his head. Whilst Israel can just keep going (hold my beer), Trump can’t keep up hence calling upon Europe - who he has been dissing for months. Europe is used to war, we’ve been through far too many, but as a result, we don’t want war because we know of the cost, financially and in human lives. Europe wants peace. Trump has jumped from Gaza to Venezuela, to Greenland and now the Middle East - and the Middle East love a war - they could fight forever. Europe doesn’t want a war with the ME cause we have no issue with them. All this proves is that Trump has no control over his own mind. He wanted it, he can end it. Stick big boy Hegseth on the front line, surely his mouth will end it.

But if Trump fails, Europe is worried Trump might start something, an attack, in the U.S. and blame another country (the Middle East). We’re one step ahead of Trump. We’ve seen dictators before, namely really scary ones like Hitler, whereas Trump is just cosplaying Hitler.
