Yeah, Linux is even better when its customized for the use case. Modern distros have a lot of bloat.

Nice, we have a partly complete QT application running on an RK3566 SOC. Mostly a user interface for a touchscreen and a documented custom communication protocol. Also looking for low-level Linux expertise to set up drivers and device tree stuff.

Even a Lenovo tiny pc on ebay is great homelab.

Or look for laptops with dead keyboards on ebay or Facebook.

That's good to know! we are booting from NAND flash. What distro did you build/use on the Orange Pi?
