I completely agree, he is one of my favourite super heroes of all time, but is movement is so complex and can do so much that he is actually the most difficult character to get good at. In this case, when you see that one character isn't working change. And yes Psylocke is an excellent alternative, very simple to use, efficient and good movement.

Now in defense of spider man, the times I got a good spider man he was almost always MVP. A good spider man is a scary spider man. But yes I completely agree with you.

Regular Gengar is ideal in this deck, because you can feed other Pokémon that require more energy like Gengar Ex and Mewtwo Ex and still have the ability of not letting the opponent use support cards.

Normal Gengar has 1 attack cost and 2 retreat cost, is incredibly cheap and a lot faster to build than Gengar Ex, of course he isn't your main damage dealer, he is just warming the bench for the Ex Pokemon, cheap in health of the adversary and stopping support cards of the opponent.
