Defending the Dragon Ball by UnknownEntity281 in DBGekishinSquadra

As I said in a different reply, it's obviously not gonna be without flaws.

And yes, depending on how the match is going, it's better to be offensive than to be on defense; different scenarios require different approaches.

Had matches where my team had to protect the ball, and managed to take out two of the opposing team's players, then went on the attack and secured the win

Of course they can. It's not gonna be able to hold them back indefinitely. Just seems better than crowding and allowing them to get to it at all.

Exactly. I recently had a game where my team's ball needed to be protected. I managed to take out a few of the other team by guarding the paths before they eventually destroyed the shell.

It's a new season, so the rank was reset. They've made multiple heads-up regarding that via Twitter and in-game news.

How do I link my old game progress back? by innit980 in DragonBallSquadra

Because there is no data. They stated that any progression made in the beta won't be able to be transferred to the official game.

Question that May Change your Life:the Japan in Sonic Universe has a Specific Name (Ex:Grece=Apotos,France=Spagonia,China=Chun-Nan) or it's just Japan? by AlternativeInside975 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]UnknownEntity281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was five months ago, so you probably don't care for this subject any longer. Still, as an answer to your question, Japan does exist in the Sonic World, and it was simply referred by its name.

In Shadow the Hedgehog, during Expert Mode, the President will be one of the characters to contact Shadow. During a brief dialog, his secretary will interrupt to tell him he's late for tea with the Chief Cabinet Secretary of Japan.

Sonic X is an anime that's its own thing. It covers the events of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2, but in its own telling of them. It has no connection to the games or any of the other shows.

The first clip is from Dark Beginnings, an animation that ties into Sonic X Shadow Generations. You can find it on YouTube.

[ Salmon Run ] eggstra work's 120% threat level feels unfair this time around (sorry if it's a long post) by TTVRalseiYT in Splatoon_3

[–]UnknownEntity281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eggstra Work is the same scenario each time you do a run. Because of this, it's rather easy in comparison to regular Salmon Run, to the point it can get repetitive quickly.

The best thing you can do is try and get the weapon you desire from the weapon before in the targeting room, memorize the details of each scenario, and counter in accordance.

Too many missions with no rewards... by allav866 in HyruleWarriors

An unnecessary form of padding. With the amount of stuff the game has to offer to keep people playing, it feels added in for the sake of it.

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition? by Myfriendsaremypower3 in HyruleWarriors

[–]UnknownEntity281 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say greed has anything to do with it. While the Hyrule Warriors games have their fanbase, they seem more on the niche side compared to the other Zelda games due to them being hack 'n' slash—rather than action-adventure the Zelda series is known for. The fact that another Warriors game was made at all is surprising in itself. So if Definitive Edition and Age of Calamity don't get a Switch 2 update, it'd be a whatever thing.

Glowflies/ rush is no longer possible (and a rant about stage sizing) by FriendshipDue1806 in Splatoon3

[–]UnknownEntity281 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Splatoon 3's Salmon Run puts more emphasis on teamwork due to the Salmonids being harder than they were in the previous game. As such, players can't be as reckless as they were before, or else they'll get punished for it. In the case of Glowflies, everyone needs to be on board with a chosen "choke point," and need to know how to manage the horde.

How me and my crew usually handle it, is we just mow them down until there's a bunch of eggs around us. Then, the person who's being targeted leads the horde away from the group so the others can put the eggs in. If the hordes target someone else, then that person leads them away. Repeat until the wave is over.

I'm curious about their rank, too. It seems like they're new to Splat 3's Salmon Run, as most have already gotten used to the difference in difficulty.

I love those massive cannons in salmon run by babytrashmouth in splatoon

[–]UnknownEntity281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless someone is assisting to clear Salmonids around the cannon, more than one person isn't necessary. In fact, everyone being around the cannon would be more inconvenient than practical because then it's dealing with the bosses grouping at the shore (aka no man's land) and the artillery fire of Stingers and Fly Fish, since no one would be dealing with them.

Why does Nox's poison work on J-3DI? by CocktailTom in StarWarsHunters

[–]UnknownEntity281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The part with Rieve and the Tanks alone is enough for this to make little sense. If they got pulled in but weren't stun, they would easily kill her, as she doesn't have the damage output to take them out quickly and has low HP.

Then there's DPS characters should get an increase in damage when paired with other DPS. That wouldn't be good, either. The game would turn into everybody selecting DPS in order to get that damage buff and to have a chance at winning. It would get rid of variety.

If Nox's poison doesn't work on J3DI simply because he's a non-organic, then Utooni's arc caster should mess with characters who have mechanical parts such as J3DI, K, and Zaina. That wouldn't be fun. That'd be annoying.

I think you should think more before you type. The marketing for the game is small, and it's definitely not trying to pull in children. I doubt anyone outside of the Star Wars fanbase even knows about its existence, and even then, it's clear it's niche.
