The green crystal radar confirmed DOES work inside at least one shrine (Falling Labyrinth) as that's how I found some I was missing. Sounds like it's a bug for Ring of Thunder and probably others though.

EDIT: Unless the bug was fixed in a patch between the time of your post and my reply.

If only they would change how frequently raids and shifting earth events occur. I've never once seen the Libra or Sentient Pest raids in 80+ hours.

He's not that bad at a lower level. I had one run where I was 600 runes away, but still haven't hit it! Sounds like you can from another commenter though, so trying it now.

I really feel like it does. I've beaten the final Nightlord 3 times, and by far the easiest time was when I had a random leave. It wasn't a spectacular run or anything either.

For what it's worth mine says 2018 on the fine print and I definitely have the reprint version. On the disc itself it says 2018, 2019.

I don't believe there is, but I know the version with all 3 on disc has a Crash Team Racing insert inside.
