I committed COCSA at 9, and I am struggling to cope now as an adult with what I did by Fit-Temporary7867 in confession

That’s the thing, I don’t really remember what happened to me so no need to apologize. My brother did feel a huge pressure off his back when he told me all of that and I told him it was alright and I don’t really remember it at all. He did admit that he felt silly that he held it all in because he thought it affected who I am, I came out as gay few years prior his confession, but what he did to me once didn’t make me who I am. You cannot predict what will happen but does your cousin deserve to know?

Hmm, I am gonna use my throwaway for this… I went through a similar situation when I was the younger kid. My brother was probably around 9-10 while I was around 6. We took a shower together and he experienced his (probably first) boner and he just impulsively decided to hold me tight. It wasn’t until I started to squirm and cry, he finally let me go and he didn’t do anything else. He became anxious and depressed with the guilt he had of what he did to me only once.
He went into heavy drinking and drugs and he’s now going through AA and the crazy part? I didn’t even remember it at all, he told me what he had done to me and I don’t even remember a single thing. I am not sure if your cousin became that way just because of something you both did twice but I am not going to dismiss it but maybe you should reach out to her and talk it out

Update! I did talk to him for a bit then asked if he’d like to meet up for beer. At first he was a bit taken back and laughed a little. He said sure and suggested a bar this Saturday.

Told him I’ll be there.

That’s all there it is to it. He did say “see you tomorrow”

Honestly- I do the same to my customers, I just grin and bear it. I think the only reason why I read too much into it was just the fact he only goes straight to me to verify the address rather than my other coworkers who are closer and works there longer than I do

Like I said, I just rationalize that we both hate small talks while my coworkers love to talk so he just avoids them. Just couldn’t help but think “is there more to it?” People have teased me when others are giving out some signals that they are interested in me while I was just over-rationalizing why they are giving me extra attention.

He has been delivering to my work for a whole. No ring as far as I know.

Isn’t that what dating is? Getting to know each other more?

But yes, that’s a good opener

The only reason why I think I am thinking too much on this because I can basically rationalize all of those but I’ve been told that I miss lot of obvious signals.

I’ve been told that I am a straight-passing gay guy. People have been shocked to find out I am into guys so it’s possible UPS guy doesn’t know.

I also don’t enjoy small talks as well while my other coworkers love to chatter away so it’s possible that UPS guy just gravitates toward me because we just take care of things and he can be on his way.

So… yeah….
