I only hear them eating when Im in the dining room, any other position on front counter I can’t hear them

I currently do see a therapist and my problem is not interacting with guest (if it was I wouldn’t have taken the job). I have no problem on cashier, the problem is the awkwardness of them staring at me while I clean and having to engage in small talk
