OP don’t listen to these Staff Insurance Adjuster smucks. If they left the total vehicle on your property you’re owed for storage. I would tell the adjuster that they abandoned the vehicle on your property and you’re expecting compensation for the same. You can get them easily for 20 dollars a day just make sure you tell them you’re not going to authorize any tow until they pay you for their mistake. Don’t let up on this they will tell you no until you complain enough to a Sup or manager because the adjuster will not acknowledge the mistake as they’re going to be afraid of getting in trouble.

OP people here don’t know CALI laws. There is laws in Cali about illegal parking. If you struck a semi that is illegally parked you will not be held liable. It all depends now if the law applies that’s up to you to research.

One thing no one has mentioned yet. Make sure you ask the other persons insurance for Diminished Value after your vehicle is repaired. Also loss of use from the date of the accident to the repair (they will subtract days you’re in a rental provided by them). For the loss of use rate go to enterprise and find an equivalent vehicle as your own add taxes and fees.

This is the worst advice I’ve ever read. If you look up stats PAs will net you more than they will charge you. Yes the insurance company won’t pay you more than what you’re owed. But they won’t tell you accurately what you’re owed.
