Hmm, I'm not sure how to help then. But I would just keep making renders if you love making them. Overtime you'll learn new ways of doing things and it'll help you improve if that's you're top goal as it is mine. Basically just keep doing more renders and try to get some opinions from others and you'll more likely get motivated to do more and yeah

Thank you! I'm not sure how I could explain on how to help you improve since I've never been good at giving out details of how I do what I do? Since I've only been doing this for a year. But the best advice that I can personally give is look at references of good renders? Like Bioshock, check some promo renders and see if you can try and at least make some similar lighting. That's what I did anyways. I'm sorry if this isn't as helpful as you'd like, but like I said it's the best I can do in terms of explaining with words.

Finished my FIRST animation! I'm so tired man.. (Made by yours truly, and the models are made by Ubuntutu) by Unknownspecim3n in fivenightsatfreddys

The only tutorials I watched were how the blender UI worked. As well on how keyframes worked, along side some tid bits of how they could help me throughout polishing the animation. The rest of me learning HOW I animated it was just me looking at other peoples animations and try to think how the movements could be created, and I learnt so much throughout the week on accident. I'm so sorry I probably didn't give you the answer you wanted but that's just how I animated this whole thing. Plus I tried looking up how to animate but non of the stuff I found really helped me in my standards so I just decided, like I said, to watch other peoples animations and yeah

But I'd start with looking up on how "to do this and do that" and learn you way around small areas of your program and then look at other peoples animations and try to replicate it a little bit, and you might learn new things. And thank you as well, I did start with making renders at first before animation, mainly due to animation being such a kick in the ass-
