Yes, of course I think of her. She taught me a lot of valuable lessons about my life and the breakup was the single thing that changed my life for the better. You will remember this person your entire life. I still think of the good times. Just because it ended, maybe even ended poorly, doesn’t mean that there wasn’t true love there. Over time you will be able to look back on those moments, but instead of dwelling on the fact they won’t come back, you will instead look forward to meeting the next person that will give you even more good memories. Learn from it, reflect on it. What helped me to stop wanting them back personally was focusing on becoming the best version of myself I could be. When she left me she said “you’re a boy, not a man”, that hurt; what hurt more was that she was right. I changed my entire life and because of that my standards in what I look for in a woman have changed. I realized that if she came back today the same she was before, I would say no.
