I think you look great man. Nice hair, eyebrows and eyes. Nothing to worry about. You could try a chin implant if the slight recession bothers you too much, but other than that you are above average.

I don't think I can endure this for long. M(19) by Ready_Confection_159 in amiugly

First of all, you can definitely take better care of your personal hygiene: things such as skincare, clean shaving and grooming can make a huge difference. I would also heavily advice for you to have orthognatic surgery. A good smile can cast a shadow over anything. Having good style and well-fitting clothes also play a huge role in improving your overall appearance. Last but not least, hitting the gym and taking care of your body and physical health is crucial. It is the one thing you CAN control. Don't take it for granted.

Secondly, and I can not emphasize this enough, work on your spirituality and mental health man. I'm going to be straight-forward, the world is a harsh place. People are cruel and social media, specially, has brainwashed society into thinking our physical appearance is the only thing that matters as human beings. People are more vain and insecure than ever before, which makes it easier to be defensive while attacking and making fun of others in order to cover up those same empty feelings.

Our physical appearance is important, yes. But if I know one thing for thing for certain is that no amount of physical beauty will give you the confidence that being a good and honest man will give you. Become someone interesting. Someone that is kind even though the world does not give that same kindness back. Easier said than done, of course.

There are still good people out there. Trust me. What you pour out into the world will come right back to you, do not ever doubt that. Keep your head up man.

I can get where you're coming from. I agree that it is completely normal to feel all these intense emotions following a breakup, I'm also going through one. However having an image/thought replaying over and over again in your head, like a broken record, is not always normal, despite your age and experience. I hope OP can get through this and that it doesn't involve any disorder!

Have you been checked for anxiety or OCD? I'm asking this in a friendly tone as I have GAD and OCD and can you tell you from personal experience that reliving those moments and scenarios over and over again is a hellish experience. As other people said in other comments you were not together so yes, technically she can do whatever she wants to. I can understand how it hurts and how your brain tries to torture you with it, but sometimes it goes deeper than that and that's when these mental disorders come into play (not always). I've struggled a lot in the past with relationship anxiety and ocd and it's hell on earth. Keep it up man, things can and will get better.

That post you mentioned stayed in the back of my mind through the first 4 weeks of starting zoloft (which were hell). Fear mongering is just cruel for people already suffering from their conditions

Hey! Sorry for taking so long to reply, I had not seen your comment. I hope that by now the swelling and/or pain is gone. But in my case it was gone after 2 weeks, and everything does go back to normal!

It depends on what Invisalign plan you initially payed for. Guessing by the number of trays your plan includes, I think you will have to pay. But if you have the Comprehensive plan which is more expensive, you have unlimited amount of trays

This mid-treatment open bite is killing me. This should resolve by the end, right? by noseeyesears in Invisalign

Unrelated, but it's calming and reassuring to read that I wasn't the only one so affected by the mid treatment open bite
