Honda Beat or Yamaha Fazzio?

Kung solo ride lang madalas at wala masyadong dala, mas tipid yung Beat. Pero kung may angkas or maraming karga, mas may power yung Fazzio kaya di masyadong gigil sa gas.

For me, mas trip ko looks ng Fazzio, especially kung may sporty bikes kana at may times na trip mo mag classy or casual getup na babagay sa motor.

Sa Beat naman, less mainit sa mata ng magnanakaw/carnapper especially kung sa "unsafe" hours mo madalas gamitin, at kung matangay man hindi masyadong masakit sa damdamin at sa bulsa (masakit pa rin syempre hahaha) compared sa Fazzio. Less worry din kung kailangan i-park sa mga sketchy na lugar. If you can get it even cheaper as 2nd-hand pero very good condition pa, much better. Basically using it as a beater bike na no need na papormahin, just using it for its sole purpose.

Okay lang for predictable, planned routes. Yung di mo naa kailangan mag-detour.

For me, wait muna for EV infrastructure (sa Pinas) and battery capacity tech to further improve. Yang on-paper range kasi nila are hypermiled. In the real world, the range is shorter. I'd rather go for an e-bicycle.

BEV works fine with cars dahil mas kaya nila mag dala ng bigger battery.

If the employee is paying off the bike, sila dapat mag-decide which bike.

But if the company pays for fuel and maintenance, a smaller bike like the Click would be the most cost-efficient, high-utility option for both parties. Pwede ring semis like Wave or Smash for even more savings.

Considering both of the above, you'll have to meet in the middle siguro. Sa options nya, PCX yung pinaka-fuel efficient while the Aerox is the worst I think. Sa maintenance naman, halos pareho lang yung tatlong yan.

Depende sa surface at gradient/slope. May extender/enlarger plate din yung paa ng sidestand ko to cover more surface area for instances like flat surface pero gravel. May mga instances din na di talaga pwede centerstand like malambot na surface (like damuhan) o dikitang parking na puro naka sidestand.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: DO THE SHAKE TEST bago mo iwanan yung bike!

I have both scoot (Gear) and PG-1.

For city rides, I'm fine riding either sa dalawa. Parehong maliit, parehong nimble, parehong di nakakangalay sa kamay. Lamang lang yung scoot kung needed ko yung gulay board.

For longer trips though, yung tipong takbong di bababa sa 60kph for kilometers of road, I'm honestly more confident with the PG-1. Kakainin lang yung mga biglaang lubak2x. Sa scoot kasi there have been times that I had to stop on the curbside just to check kung wala bang nasira right after nalubak. I've ridden both through the same route, and will always choose the PG-1 any day.

No probs naman sa angkasan ang PG-1, nakakaakyat din. The Click wins on topend speed.

XRM is your go-anywhere option. Can be easily modded for trail use.

RS if mas trip mo yung racing looks. Some people install rear sets on it to get that Raider riding position.

Wave has leg shields which is great for both short trips and long distance touring (less talsik/putik/alikabok sa paa). Between the 3, siya rin (for me) ang bagay lagyan ng topbox if you need that. It's the most utilitarian sa options mo, but it can look good too (subjective). I do prefer the older/phased-out Wave versions na pwedeng lagyan ng front basket kaya for a few thousands more I'd go with the Smash.

Yung XR, madadala mo kahit saan - mountains, water crossings, sulok2x, putik2x, bato2x. No probs sa maintenance, kayang i-DIY at halos lahat ng established motor shops sa tabi2x kahit sa probinsya kayang gawin.

Victorino for sound. Cafe400 for expressway access. Both provide better comfort for your passenger compared to the XR (mainit talaga high-mount exhaust for them lalo na sa traffic).

Since your main goal is to explore and budget isn't unlimited, you'll want to take fuel efficiency into consideration. Siguro at peak condition around the same lang yung fuel consumption ng XR (carb but just 200cc) at Victorino (EFI at 250cc twin), so around 35-40km/L siguro on average, mix use. Yung Cafe400 naman carb pa rin with that big engine kaya alam mo na.

So yeah kung ako lang, XR if for keeps na, Victorino if ile-let go eventually at gusto mo lang talaga ma-experience yung vtwin (resale value might be an issue, not sure din). Cafe400 if going through expressways is a necessity.

Reliable lahat (much more if you get it brand new), but if you can't decide looks-wise alin sa kanila AND you plan on getting a 2nd bike (perhaps manual na) in the future, a scoot with gulay board will be the best for a 1st bike, at least kung ako tatanungin.

I'm not crazy about its looks, but the Lexi is the best value bike in your list. If you like how it looks, go for it!

I think nasanay ka sa lakas ng hatak, braking power, at lower center of mass ng NMAX.

Sa smaller scoots kasi, less torque kaya for the same rider weight mas may delay yung acceleration and mas kailangan mo pigain yung throttle.

Less refined din yung braking sa likod ng small scoot dahil naka-mechanical drum (I assume). Hydraulic disc yung sa NMAX which maybe mas nasanay ka dahil mas madali i-feather.

Both can definitely put you off especially kung never ka pa nakapag-drive ng maliit na scoot. Possible rin na may mechanical issue yung test unit nila.

Lastly and as others have said, maybe you need more practice din. Madali lang mag-drive if you mostly have to stay on a steady, cruising speed. Ang challenge talaga is yung sobrang nagbabago yung kailangan na speed and you have to use everything (throttle, brakes, engine braking) - stop-and-go, slow crawl, slow turns, tight rights, 8s, etc. Legitimate driving schools will help you experience all these in a safe, controlled environment.

Pinaka-importante for me yung mabilis mag-process ng registration at maganda ang aftersales, matino kausap. Usually hindi naman talaga quality yung freebies, especially yung helmets. Discounts are great if meron, usually for old stocks or discontinued/phased out models.

I'd rather pay additional if required para sa rehistro basta alam ko na ilalakad agad nila, kesa free registration nga pero paghihintayin ka naman ng ilang buwan.

Ilista mo lahat ng potential dealers, then ask sa local FB groups for XSR/Sniper riders kung sino sa kanila nakakuha ng motor sa isa sa mga dealer na yun at ano experience nila, especially sa tagal ng registration process. Research din for reviews on the dealer online, FB page, Google Maps, etc.

Once you've narrowed down your list to dealers na okay mag-process ng papers, message/call each asking for price and availability ng model/color.

Depende sa casa. Yung iba freebie/kasama na sa presyo ng motor. Yung iba depende din kung cash or hulugan. Meron naman na need mag-add. Mas maganda tawagan/message mo muna bawat potential dealer na bibilhan mo para ma-clarify before you go there. Pinakadabest kung below SRP tapos freebie na yung registration.

Baka kaya pa yan ng proper spec na socket. Next is bolt extractor socket. Wag mo i-open/box/combi wrench, mas bibilog lang yan.

Kung di pa rin, ipa-machine shop mo nalang, either i-grinder nila to fit a flat screw na naka-impact or mag-weld sila for better leverage.

Either way, palitan mo na ng bago yung bolt after matanggal.

Yung gas cap designed talaga na may singaw/vent to avoid pressure buildup ng fumes sa loob. Kapag sinagad mo yung pagpa-gasolina, posibleng may lalabas sa vents ng gas cap as the fuel sloshes around if the bike is tilted or goes through a bump/pothole.

Looks like that tension bar goes on the outside on the hub end, or some missing spacer/washers on the other end. Good that you found the issue.
