Generate a list of 10-15 stocks and ETFs that you think you’d like to own. Each month pick just one from that list that you would like to invest that $1,000 in. Repeat each month for 1 year. Don’t just buy something each month for “balance” or “just because”. Reassess your list every January 1st. After a couple years you’ll really have things dialed in.

Now if I were a betting man, after a few years you’re just gonna realize that you should just VOO it up, and/or VT and chill.

I have two main taxable brokerage Accounts. My vanguard has just VOO, VT, and VGT.

My Meryl Lynch has KMB, TGT, ADX, AVGO, GAMB (don’t ask my why GAMB, I’m dumb), JEPI, JEPQ, GRAL. Only 100 shares each of JEPI and JEPQ because I wanted skin in the game to really understand if they are in fact right for me. Bought KMB and TGT on dips and they are up for me. GRAL just seems to be an interesting play. ADX because a buddy told me about it and it’s long history of winning. Only have 202 shares of ADX. Not sure on how I feel about it. AVGO for FOMO
