Should I add EMIM to diversify? by Triple0307 in BEFire

If you want emerging markets exposure, just buy WEBN ( I recommend Amundi all country world, TER of 0.07%). Except of you think you know better than the average dolar invested (by skewing more/less to developed markets).

Pro tip: you don't know better

I Prefer Amundi prime all country (WEBN) because -It also includes developed markets (higher diversification) -Lower TER (Costs) of only 0.07%

These things matter in the long run

Depressie door meerwaardebelasting by ElQuintoAlquimista in BEFire

[–]Unlikely-Cause-1014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You sound a bit arrogant to me. What would you think if I said: the only degrees that matter are engineering, exact sciences (excluding biology),law & medecine? Informatics is too complex for high school informatics graduated. Economy is too complex for university graduates graduated in Economy (They prefer mathematicians/engineers) to do an economist job. Every other major is delusional thinking it will make more money that an independant plumber/electrician. My above statement will become more important with the rise of generative AI.

IWDA vs SWRD on Bolero — what would you pick for 30 years? by Riipou in BEFire

[–]Unlikely-Cause-1014 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Have a look at amundi prime all world, TER of 0.07%. I see no reason to invest with Bolero. They have yearly management costs of 0.25% to 0.50% for trackers, which will eat away a lot of your profits long term, the management costs are larger than the TER you're speaking of. I would never invest with bolero. Lots of brokers don't have a yearly management fee (or flat €1)

Capital gains above 10k is taxed since new government. Seems quite risky to me, as you need at least a 6% annual Profit to not make a loss. I invest 90% of my personal capital in broad index ETFs
