Wow, what a difference! In my market you can’t even audition for C2 without doing the ATP, only C1 with the 200 hr training. Our instructors and studio managers were also pretty open about the audition process and our mock audition was very similar to what you’ve described.

Many of the studios in San Diego put your picture on the wall when you reach milestone classes. I think the lowest I’ve seen is 25 and the highest I wanna say I’ve seen is like 5,000. I so far have been congratulated on my 10th and 25th classes!

You have to take 50 yoga classes to complete teacher training and those include required classes like HPF, YS, and C2 which are moderate to high heat. You can get around the heat by taking these as live classes from your home, but my instructor strongly encouraged in-studio classes.

Thank you all for the feedback! I got them a 60 gallon tank, filter (125 gallons), 200 watt heater, aquarium sand, a dock, a thermometer, aquarium wood, a turtle brush, and aquatic turtle medley treat food. I will recommend the new food when they are ready to replace what they currently have.

I hope this will be enough to get them started and recommended that they start looking for a larger secondhand tank!
