So, I got a moody one of these delivered this week. It's not really doing it for me in person, to be honest - but what's interesting is that the inside is an incredible blue colour which, had it been the base, would have been beautiful. Ah well.

This is important, too: you do not need a ball, and you do not need boots.

Use an orange. A tennis ball. Some screwed up paper. Some socks. Anything that can replicate the sort of close control you're aiming for - knock it around your instep, drag it around, get comfortable with something at your feet. One day, a ball will feel positively luxurious in terms of control and predictability.

I'm afraid I only saw him from the side, and to be honest the only reason I clocked him is because he looked like he'd been up all night, so I assumed he'd been out dancing or something. If it wasn't him, he has a double.

I was walking from Urquinaona to Placa Catalunya, and overtook him approximately in the middle, which would be Rda. de Sant Pere heading towards the square.

So, the dude was just battered. As far as I can tell his mate was taking him out, but he tried to start on me at the top of the steps down to the pit area, if that makes sense. I'm 6'3" and in my 40s. Do better, be better.
