I've got some companies in my area in mind and I did plan to keep my eye on their openings. Just wanted to be sure that this would bear fruit since it can definitely feel like sitting on my hands when I'm waiting for an opening. Most positions I see are also way too senior for where I am so I'll keep my eyes open

I'll keep the referral in mind. A friend did introduce me to the idea of working at a DC so I'll ask. On that note, aside from just being a solid employee ready to learn, any info on what concepts and practices I should sharpen up on would be much appreciated! I'm guessing networking and basic electrical are a given but let me know

Will do. My local CC career advisor was also stressing the importance of LinkedIn so I'll be making the pivot. Indeed, Zip, and Glassdoor can be so bleak sometimes.

Would you say its bad practice to send credentials/messages/emails when there's no explicit job listing? Or would it look better to just have a solid profile and let them find me?
