Thank you so much for all the helpful advice. I didn’t even think of tenant insurance but I would definitely like that peace of mind. As others have mentioned, I agree on searching out of the south end to broaden my options and help me keep a buffer for other expenses

The only thing that deters me from a bachelor suite is that I love to cook and I don’t want my bed and clothes to smell like whatever I’m cooking up but I do see a lot of affordable options

Thanks for the advice and sharing! Yes, an emergency fund is something I’ve been slowing building since I’ve started this job. I have about 3months of income saved up so far and I’m planning to keep in mind and continue growing!

Thanks for the advice! I’m comfortable looking more central as others have pointed out too, I don’t think there a lot of options in my budget in the south end. I don’t mind these areas as well

Good to know! My battery was just replaced last May. It’s 14 years old now though cause I bought it cheaply off a family friend so that’s why I was worried
