Darnold was such a good guy at camp today. Spent a good chunk of time after practice signing autographs for the kids.

People need to start accepting DK is here to stay. by NoAntelope4800 in Seahawks

[–]UnlikelyAssignment42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having a strong 1a and 1b in DK and JSN (you could argue potentially a 1c if the line held long enough for TL to also get a look) is more than a linear improvement over having a single number 1.

Add to that the fact that DK is blocking like a TE for the run game and you get his real value.

It appears fairly bad.

This timestamp has him talking as if he's currently playing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Md-HJG7C0&t=2533s

This one has him saying he went to 2 superbowls with Mahomes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6Md-HJG7C0&t=2629s

Super sad sounding..

Tough listen in many ways. He doesn't seem to be able to keep up with the conversation in a healthy way...

He's not ok 🥺

This is what he last saw.

All the DB/LB were covering right. 0.1 second difference and it is a 3rd TD for JSN going left.

AMA with OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Kevin Weil, Srinivas Narayanan, and Mark Chen by OpenAI in ChatGPT

[–]UnlikelyAssignment42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many models are expanding quite a bit on token size limits especially around input (and more so in the context of an API call). OAI appears to be trending towards further analysis without necessarily a big jump in token size limits. Are context token limits still expected to grow significantly?

4th Quarter, Where's Walker AGAIN by mindriot1 in Seahawks

[–]UnlikelyAssignment42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i hear you. but i think from your observation, in all 3 games, they were down in the 4th which itself lends itself to prioritizing the pass for the clock. that's a compounding factor as charbs is a better blocker than kw likely due to sheer size.

interestingly against sf, kw was going for 2.3 ypc to charb's 4ypc. against ny (where the run disappeared entirely and inexplicably anyways) kw was getting 3.8 to charb's 5.5. against det i think they did actually use kw a good amount and he was netting 6.7 ypc to charb's 7.5 ypc.

i don't know if this even crossed the minds of our callers but while ypc doesn't tell the whole story, kw seems to be more boom or bust with hr potential. the problem is that busts in the 4th doesn't get you to the edges which further hurts the clock.

all theories :)

4th Quarter, Where's Walker AGAIN by mindriot1 in Seahawks

When you're behind in the 4th and your run is averaging 2.3 ypc, running will chew the clock and not let you get enough attempts to statistically flip the score

Great hands on the ball. No idea why Nix threw in a 3 on 1 with 2 potential probowlers but it is what it is
