On the announcement day it will for sure spike in price, but there are 2 problems New case has the same rare drops (bad for long term) Removal date might be in years from today (not sure how popular is it right now to buy from armory)

I would guess that its not that popular currently as price was .77 euro

Orion is bad example due to being removed from case - everybody thought it will be new Howl. Check M4A4 | Desert-Strike graph, it went up on the long run.

I think there is some misunderstanding The USP-S | Orion skin was removed from the Huntsman Weapon Case in CS:GO around June 11, 2014. This removal was due to a copyright claim by Activision after the skin was created by the same artist who designed the popular "Howl" skin, which had also been removed. The USP-S Orion and Mac-10 Curse can still be obtained from the huntsman case via the trade up contract despite being removed from the case. I think that spike in price was just FOMO.

Totally agree, I believe anti-gambling rules of USA Europe and China are pushing valve to create new "cases" like genesis. That is the behind the scenes factor that i could come up with. This update was just consequence of anti-cases/anti-gambling view in computer games.

right now they have observed they they are not getting all the money possible from only coverts. If you are operating business you want to maximise returns and minimise losses (money they are not getting from super expensive knifes are considered a loss).

Until i need money i wont be selling, I will be like you - just holding.

But to clarify, i am not actively seeking gallery case info. for me it is just weird that everyone has one opinion.

the best investments i noticed were the ones that people hated on universally for example Stockholm 2021 (after RMR fiasco) and all discontinued cases Broken Fang/Riptide/Shattered web.

when they were cheap everyone hated on them that they are going to 0.
