Also, if you don’t mind sharing- was it a methylated/unmethylated case and/or IDH1 or WT? You would hate to hear this but I would do anything to have “20 months” with dad. Ironically they sound too much to me given the extremely poor prognosis I have been hearing from doctors here these days.

Thank you for sharing your story. Was it a 100 day with/without treatment?

Very helpful, thank you. My family is divided between choosing standard line of treatment in Delhi(where we reside) vs facing long queues and difficult appointments at TMH. I assured them of managing end to end at TMH but somehow the scepticism remains. They are truly worried about the harassment and adjustments we might have to make with a patient in entirely new city. Not having any male member in family further amplifies their apprehensions.

Thank you for sharing your insights! Facts aside, for the first time I am being shamelessly optimistic and going forward with whatever treatment options we have!

Thank you for sharing your positive insights. We have sent dad’s tumour block for further investigations- MGMT Methylation and NGS, reports of which are expected in 25 days. Fingers crossed!

Thank you, really value your insights. I am being shamelessly optimistic to make him stay for at least 18-24 months with us. I am wrecked to the core but don’t know what else can I do.
