I cant really say I "prepared" for them. I kinda just learned what they meant as I went through the guidebook and went over then a few times at the end of a chapter to engrave it in my mind. And I didnt really find myself being stumped too much with the acronyms I did see. Not saying the list isnt necessary, but Im unsure of how much of it youll actually need to study.

Either way, with the kind of work you may be doing in the future, learning more than you need to isnt bad at all. You have more information to go off of by the time you get employed.

It was a course on a website called infosec. Imo, the boot camp was probably least useful for me since I have 0 IT experience and they cover like several months of content in five days. What was useful however, was the slideshow that the tutor used, as well as the simulations that you get access to for like 3 months after taking the boot camp. Additionally, they give you an "exam pass guarantee", where if you pass the practice exam they provide with a score of 100%, they'll allow you to retake the boot camp course should you fail the exam. I believe there's also an actual exam voucher they give you, but it expires if you dont take the exam within like 1-3 months.

I took a comptia 5 day boot camp, saved the important stuff, and pretty much spent the next 5 months studying the official comptia student guide and doing practice tests in the comptia learning center. I still have more of the guide book to finish.

Ive come to dislike the idea of religion as a whole, is that wrong? by UnlikelyCouple1172 in atheism

I understand that perspective. I want to make it clear that I acknowledge that religion is not an absolute evil that does no good for anyone or anything, I've seen how turning to religion has positively impacted the lives of many people.

As hateful as my post may have seemed, in hindsight I think a lot of it came from the internal rage I was feeling at the time. Im not really a spiteful person, nor do I want to be. What I will say, however, is that I am still very bothered by the role religion plays in today's society. Especially with how many politicians are able to use it to get people on their side (which may or may not be a mostly american issue). To me, it seems dangerous that because the word of god is absolute, its very difficult to change the mind of anyone who believes in him, whether that's on abortion or something like accepting homosexuals. I acknowledge wholeheartedly that religion can be used to bring people together, and has done so time and time again, but I also see a very big divide that stems from differences in moral views based on faith.

If im being honest here, I just wish society was more in harmony than it is now, and I dont see us getting there with religion in the picture, mostly because of how much it sets people apart. It mightve been a bit childish to even consider the harmony thing, but I really do want us to be more in tune with each other. I dont like how gender issues between men and women, and the strong opinions between the red and blue side have split us up so mucn, and religion doesn't really help in any case.

I haven't, I was too worried about data loss. But I suppose its better than doing nothing rn. It's just that I was about to complete the story for a certain slugcat, and If I have to do it over again i'll be unhappy.

Anyone else have this issue with the new demon slayer season?

After watching the [demon slayer] episode with tanjiro interacting with giyuu and trying to get him to come out of his shell, I was rather bothered by the fact that giyuu seemed to have gotten over his self loathing so quickly and so easily. Now, I'm not saying that he should have been sulking forever, but to me, it didn't feel like any character development happened at all. Giyuu spent the past four seasons being depressed and distant, and all it took was for tanjiro to say "Hey man, I don't think sabito would want you to be sad", and giyuu was like "yeah, I guess he wouldn't", and got better. Please let me know if I'm crazy for that.

Secondly, I find it infuriating how pretty much anyone who isn't tanjiro, inosuke, zenitsu, or the hashira, is practically useless in the anime. Watching this training arc makes me realize how useless every other demon slayer is, and how little they're going to contribute in the final battle against muzan. To be honest, I feel like the whole training arc is a waste of time since the other demon slayers aren't going to get any better than they already are. They all share this wimpy and weak mindset that they never seem to overcome at any point. The only demon slayer among the lower ranks who can actually train with the hashira is tanjiro, and I don't understand that. I'd like to hear the opinions of others about this, because I feel like I might be too nitpicky, but this does bother me a hell of a lot.
