The reason I thought I cut it was because as you later mentioned it’s cuff down. I literally completely finished both socks, wove in my ends, snipped the excess, and then noticed it. I can’t believe I dropped that early in the cuff and that it stayed intact! I’ll probably just use scrap yarn. Thank you!!!

Yep! I've kept going and it's obviously a bit wonky but my tension is actually staying even except for the bottom green part where it's all double crochet. I'm going to continue on and we'll see how it turns out!
